Hospital Dedicated.
—St. Marguerite's Hospital, Peru, was dedicated with impressive ceremonies by the Bishop of Peoria, June 10.
Clinical Laboratory.
—The clinical laboratory established at Paris by Dr. B. G. R. Williams has proven so successful during the last year that bacteriologic and pathologic departments are being established. The work in the laboratory is being done by the local practitioners.
Personal.
—Dr. Robert J. Burns, Freeport, has been elected physician of Stephenson county.—Dr. H. R. Riddle, Mechanicsburg, has been elected physician to Sangamon county.-Dr. and Mrs. Charles G. Farnum and Dr. Alfred A. Knapp and family, Brimfield, have sailed for Europe.—Dr. Milo Eaton has assumed the duties of bacteriologist and chemist of the Peoria health department.—Dr. Martin R. Doyle has been appointed a member of the board of fire and police commissioners of East St. Louis.
