ABSTRACT

To the Editor:  —In my letter in The Journal, January 16, I find I was in error in stating that Professor Jespersen had retired from the Committee of the Delegation. May I take this opportunity of asking the avalanche of correspondents who have written to me, asking how best to commence the study of the language, to give me a little time in which to reply to their letters. Also I should be glad if any future correspondents would kindly enclose a stamped directed envelope, as the tax of postage is already considerable.
