—We are informed that on Monday, Oct. 26, in presence of the medical class at Ann Arbor and a number of medical practitioners, Prof. Donald Maclean, of Detroit, extirpated the left kidney, both the ovaries and a large piece of the omentum from a married woman 27 years of age, who proved to be in an early stage of pregnancy.
So far, now one full week, the patient has done well, and the case promises to be a complete success. The kidney and both the ovaries were cystic, the former being very large.
