The Bibliomed Urology CD-ROM is a three-for-one "special." Produced by Lippincott-Raven publishers in conjunction with the American Urological Association, this CD-ROM contains the three volumes of the third edition of Adult and Pediatric Urology, edited by Gillenwater et al, the American Urological Association's Clinical Practice Guideline: Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia: Diagnosis and Treatment, and a MEDLINE literature search program, as well as other publications, including several journals. The CD-ROM is both Windows- and Macintosh-compatible.

The third edition of Adult and Pediatric Urology has already been reviewed in JAMA.1 Having the entire three volumes on a CD-ROM has obvious advantages in today's computer-driven society. Now a urologist can update or annotate Adult and Pediatric Urology by adding or editing information from recent literature or practice experience. In addition there is a review of the text with interactive questions and answers, which makes for excellent continuing education. The program is user friendly
