In the last 20 years there has been an enormous growth in the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of male erectile dysfunction. Progress in this field has been so rapid that assembling knowledge into one text and presenting it in a timely fashion so that the material remains reasonably current is a major challenge. In spite of these difficulties, the editors of Impotence: Diagnosis and Management of Male Erectile Dysfunction have been largely successful.
The text has a 1991 publication date, and references are reasonably complete through 1990. The drawings are of good quality, but many of the photographs did not reproduce well. Detailed legends appear with all figures.
