The OB-GYN Advisor is designed to run on the IBM PC family of computers. The computer system must have at least one MB of space available on a hard disk, 256K RAM, and DOS 2.0 or higher. Installing the OB-GYN Advisor on your system is simply a matter of following the directions in the manual. The software creates its own directory called CRS for Clinical Reference Systems and places it in the root directory of the hard disk.
OB/GYN Advisor stores patient education data on more than 250 obstetric, gynecologic, and new baby topics. These topics may be printed out from the doctor's office computer on demand. The list of topics includes information on surgical procedures, common female and neonatal infections, babysitter guidelines, day-care information, and some general medical problems. A sheet of paper lists these topics in alphabetical order. The list is also contained internally on the hard disk.
