ABSTRACT

This new title is actually the first English edition of a journal already distributed widely in Asia and published for 15 years in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. The Chinese Association of the Integration of Traditional and Western Medicine and the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine are joint sponsors.

The 8× 11-in, two-column-format journal has few illustrations but many graphs and tables. The contents of each issue are well identified on the front cover and the first inside page. Consistent with the practice of new publications in China, the first issue contains photographs of a few prominent people with their statements of praise and of the honorary members of the Chinese Academy of Medical Science and the minister and vice minister of public health.
