To the Editor.  —My standards of taste in humor are admittedly pretty low, but your Occasional Satire article1 on admission of dead people in a recent issue of JAMA was without redeeming comic value.I am sure that the general public would not be amused by this tasteless piece, which further damages the already weakened image of American physicians. Indeed, we will be lucky if this article does not arouse a small firestorm of indignation in the lay media.
