Just before I wrote a review of this book, which I had on my desk, a colleague of mine who is a specialist in gastroenterology said, "How could they possibly have an entire book devoted to the larynx?" Well, this is a book devoted to the larynx and all its disorders, and it is one that I would recommend. The Larynx: A Multidisciplinary Ap proach, edited by Marvin Fried, is written by experts. Most of the 45 chapters are well written and edited, up-to-date, and clinically pertinent, and provide the reader with a wealth of new information in laryngology.
The book, as the title indicates, includes all facets of anatomy, physiology, pathology, diagnosis, and treatment and understanding of laryngeal disorders.
