This compact, pocket-sized manual covers the procedures and treatment methods used at the Shriner's Burns Institute, Cincinnati, and carries with it the reputation of one of the most sophisticated burn treatment centers in the country. The author is the director of the institute. Clearly, it is meant to be of use to residents, nurses, burn technicians, occupational and physical therapists, dieticians, and medical students, and it would appear to achieve this objective admirably.
