Franciosa discusses long-term oral vasodilator therapy for congestive heart failure with emphasis on clinical aspects and points out its role as an adjunct to standard therapy.
Topics such as computed electrocardiography, ambulatory ECG monitoring, and an optimal pacing system for the individual patient are well covered and succinctly offer a wealth of information. The chapter on myocardial preservation will interest the nonsurgical specialist as well.
