—In the article entitled "Breath Alcohol Values Following Mouthwash Use," published in the December 22/29, 1993, issue of THE JOURNAL (1993;270:2955-2956), digits were transposed. This resulted in incorrect values appearing in the abstract, introduction, and "Methods" section for the concentration of ethyl alcohol in Listerine. The correct concentration is 26.9% (not 29.6%). The correct concentration, noted in the Table footnote, was used in calculating the relationship between breath alcohol concentration after mouthwash use and the alcohol content of the mouthwash. The results of the study are unaffected.
