Steady Growth in Continuing Medical Education

ABSTRACT

This is the 15th consecutive year in which The Journal has published a list of "Continuing Education Courses for Physicians" (pp 693 through 763). The principal aim of the list is to maintain a service to all physicians interested in formal courses in continuing medical education. This single annual list makes it possible for the individual physician to plan his own program of study for the entire ensuing year.

The arrangement of courses is first by medical subject, then by geographic and chronologic sequence under each subject heading. This will permit easy reference and considerable convenience in use of the course list. There is, in addition, a geographic listing of all institutions which have reported courses, making it much simpler for the physician to choose the geographic area in which he would prefer to attend a formal course.
