Graduate Education in Public Health

ABSTRACT

This annual report deals with certain features and activities of the schools of public health of the United States and Canada, and considers discernible trends. Most of the tables in the main body of the report consist of figures which show changes from year to year. Detailed data referable to academic year 1967-1968 are presented in Appendix III.

This report is made possible only through the generous cooperation of the schools of public health. Each has filled out a questionnaire at the end of the academic year, in addition to supplying data on faculty members and students.

The general questionnaire asks for information on organization, physical facilities, library facilities, finances, admission of students, course offerings, field training, and continuation education. In addition, a list of all graduates receiving their diplomas during the current year (July 1, 1967, to June 30, 1968) is requested, and an "open end" question asks for
