The third edition of Myelography again is directed to investigation of lesions impinging into or involving the subarachnoid spaces of the spinal canal and the posterior fossa, mainly by positive contrast (Pantopaque) examinations. As in the second edition, the contents includes chapters on various contrast media, technique, radiation dosage, normal spinal anatomy, the normal myelogram, artifacts, and a note on complications and limitations of the method. Chapters on the pathologic myelogram review tumors, trauma, congenital lesions, inflammations, discal herniations, miscellaneous nonneoplastic lesions, and diskography. These are very much like those in the second edition. However, the section on spondylosis and the narrow spinal canal has been revised, and considerable material referable to the posterior fossa and some on tumors has been added. About 20% of the illustrations pertaining to these chapters have been replaced. All the excellent diagrams in the second edition have been retained, and a few new ones
