ABSTRACT

To the AMA.—  Being a pediatrician I had always subscribed to the American Journal of Diseases of Children. Last year I decided to check off the Archives of Dermatology on my AMA membership as a change to see what dermatologists talk about.I enjoy the journal and find myself looking at rashes on children with a whole new perspective. I have even learned a few big words to drop carefully around my contemporaries.The big bonus in subscribing to the Archives is an indirect but significant one, and only slowly occurred to me. I suddenly realized that I was no longer buying Playboy magazines which take a lot of time to read. I swear they move the towel on the Alpha Keri girl a little more each month. Now it is on the full back cover, so naturally the Archives is always on the top of my reading pile (face
