Dr. Hugh de Evereaux Bennett has been named associate dean of Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Bennett was associate professor of medicine at Baylor University. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Chicago School of Medicine. His research has been in the fields of hypertension, liver disease, pulmonary function, irradiation, metabolism and gastroenterology.
Dr. Irvin J. Cohen has been appointed executive vice-president of Maimonides Hospital of Brooklyn. Dr. Cohen was assistant chief medical director for professional services of the Veterans Administration in Washington. In 1961 he was awarded the Exceptional Service Award, the VA's highest honor for service.
Two new appointments have been announced at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York City. Dr. Raymond Harrison has been named resident instructor of ophthalmology, and Dr. Milton Ingerman has been appointed resident instructor of otolaryngology.
Dr. Harrison will direct the training program for
