As we review the "Fracture of the Month" presented by the Massachusetts General Hospital Fracture Clinic during the past year, we are impressed by the fact that these contributions represent a team effort, including members of the resident staff, as well as visiting orthopedic and plastic surgeons. The cases chosen have, on the whole, been difficult problems in management, and by reviewing the protocols the reader can observe that there has been far from unanimity of opinion as to the best methods to employ in treatment. This is as it should be. Such differences of opinion promote lively discussions by which we learn a great deal.
