The article, "Corsage Pin in Stomach" (JAMA175:48 [Jan. 7] 1961), illustrates a useful lesson in the management of a common problem. Something else is noteworthy about it. Here, at last, is a medical paper with more authors (5) than paragraphs (3). I believe this probably represents a new high in authorship by committee. May we eventually look forward to an article in which the list of authors' names will require more type than the article itself?
