ARMED FORCES INSTITUTE OF PATHOLOGY
General Callendar Honored.—
Gen. George R. Callendar, director of Pathology and Allied Sciences, Veterans Administration, received recognition for his outstanding contributions to pathology and medicine at the Annual Armed Forces Institute of Pathology Lectures on Feb. 16. After an introduction by Col. Frank M. Townsend, USAF, M.C., the director of the Institute, General Callendar received a standing ovation from the 300 pathologists and physicians attending the lectures and a citation. General Callendar was director of the Institute from 1920 to 1922 and again from 1924 to 1929.
