This book is concerned with the construction of crowns to rebuild teeth and fixed partial dentures to replace missing teeth. It is comprehensive but not encyclopedic in scope and presents basic knowledge and accepted techniques in a manner which will enable the neophyte student or active practitioner of dentistry to assimilate and apply clinically. The print is easily read and there are excellent descriptive photographs and demonstrations of many practical crown and bridge techniques which make them clear and easily reproducible. There are instructions for specific instruments and the variety of materials to be used for this special phase of dentistry, with the laboratory techniques involved in their fabrication.

There is an excellent section covering replacements of one or more missing teeth, with multiple diagnoses for the number and distribution of abutment teeth for the fixed bridges. The planning and proper construction of partial dentures is also considered. The authors
