Dr. Pigman Goes to New York City.—  Ward Pigman, Ph.D., was appointed professor and chairman of the department of biochemistry at New York Medical College. Dr. Pigman, associate professor of biochemistry at the Medical College of the University of Alabama, Birmingham, will assume his new post at the end of this academic year. He will replace Israel Kleiner, Ph.D., who is retiring after serving New York Medical College for many years. Dr. Pigman is a consultant for the National Institute of Health, United States Navy, and the National Research Council. He is the recipient of the C. S. Hudson Award of the American Chemical Society.
