ABSTRACT

The subject matter of this book is well organized and presented in a concise manner. The book should be helpful to the investigator and the practicing physician. The references are excellent, and unnecessary detail is absent. Only pertinent data and facts which have proved to be practical are presented. The comparison of animal data with those of normal human subjects is excellent. The correlation between certain observations in patients with various diseases and that between those in normal human beings is presented in simplified form. This book is an excellent one on a new subject and should be of interest to the clinician as well as to the experimental investigator.
