Personal.—
Col. James M. Davis, M. C., was recently honored by the Chinese National Air Force with the award of its flight surgeon wings. The award was made in Taipai, Taiwan (Formosa), by Lieut. Gen. HSU, Huan-shen, deputy commander in chief Chinese Air Force. Colonel Davis is presently assigned as director of the professional services for Pacific Air Forces, located at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.

Personal.—
Major Gen. Elbert DeCoursey, commandant of the Army Medical Service School at Brooke Army Medical Center, received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from Baylor University in August. The citation praised his contributions to military and medical administration and especially his active interest in pathological research. General DeCoursey also holds the honorary Doctor of Sciences degree from the University of Kentucky, where he took his undergraduate work.
