Dr. Day Goes to Washington.—
The University of Arkansas Medical Center, Little Rock, held a convocation recently honoring Paul L. Day, Ph.D., member of the faculty for 31 years who has resigned to become scientific director of the U. S. Food and Drug Administration, Washington, D. C. Dr. Day has been chairman of the school's department of biochemistry since coming to Arkansas in 1927. Dr. F. Douglas Lawrason, provost for medical affairs, presided at the convocation. A faculty dinner honoring Dr. Day was held Dec. 29.

The American College of Physicians, Southern California Region, will meet at the El Mirador Hotel, Palm Springs, Feb. 7-8.
