ABSTRACT

This book has long since established itself as a classic in the field of diagnostic pediatric roentgenology. The new edition is more complete than ever, containing 197 more pages and 383 new illustrations. The subject matter has been expanded to keep abreast of the newer developments, advances, and procedures. As in the past, the author stresses the normal and the variants of normal at various ages, which is particularly important in this field of roentgenology. A new section on congenital dysplasia and dislocation of the hip has been added. Many other new subjects are included, and previous sections have been enlarged and rewritten with additional illustrations. This book truly represents one of the best and most informative works dealing with roentgenology ever published. It is a real classic not only for radiologists but for any one in any specialty interested in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in children. It
