This small volume is intended to serve as a brief introduction to clinical electrocardiography for the general practitioner or clinician. The newer methods of vectorcardiography and ballistocardiography are also discussed briefly. Special emphasis is placed on how the electrocardiographic tracing is produced and its significance. The book is clearly and accurately written and effectively illustrated. Although it is not a comprehensive work on electrocardiography, it is recommended to those who wish to acquire a working knowledge of this science. To such persons it will provide a theoretical foundation for clinical interpretation to which, later, more detailed study can be added.
