DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA 

Changes in Status.—  H. R. 8665 has been reported to the House, providing for the issuance of a license to practice chiropractic in the District of Columbia to Lou Davis. H. R. 9284 has passed the Senate, providing for the issuance of a license to practice the healing art in the District of Columbia to Dr. A. L. Ridings.

MEDICAL BILLS IN CONGRESS 

Changes in Status.—  The conference committee on H. R. 960, extending the classified civil service of the United States, has reached an agreement and has submitted to the House and Senate a report in which it is recommended that the Hatch amendment, paving the way for the appointment of graduates of unapproved medical schools to civil positions in government service, be eliminated.
