Courses for Practicing Physicians.—
Stanford University School of Medicine, San Francisco, will present courses for practicing physicians September 19-23. Registration in all courses is limited and closes September 1. Half-day courses include general surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, fractures, laboratory diagnosis, endocrinology and surgical specialties; full-day courses will be given in anesthesiology and clinical ophthalmology. University Appointments.—
Two new faculty members have been appointed to Stanford University School of Medicine effective September 1. Dr. Robert H. Alway has been named associate professor of pediatrics, the rank he now holds at the University of Utah College of Medicine, Salt Lake City, where he has been on the faculty since 1943. Dr. Lyman M.
