MORE INTERNS PROTEST NATIONALIZED MEDICINE
The interns of Ancker Hospital, St. Paul, have addressed the following letter to the editor of The Interne, a magazine said to be the publication of the interns' organization, protesting unanimously their disapproval of the platform adopted by the Association of Internes and Medical Students at their convention in 1948 supporting a government-sponsored, national health insurance program. The Association of Internes and Medical Students apparently includes relatively few interns and residents, but claims to represent all:"We, the internes of Ancker Hospital, St. Paul, Minnesota, have just recently received the February, 1949, issue of The Interne containing the report on the AIMS convention of 1948.
