A PROTEST ON AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION POLICY AND A REPLY  Under Association News in this issue of The JourNAL appears a protest signed by one hundred and forty-eight physicians, which has already had publicity in the press. Apparently it was released in New York by one of the five members of the committee which forwarded it to the American Medical Association, including Drs. George Baehr, New York; E. A. Park, Baltimore; Hugh Morgan, Nashville; Barry Wood. St. Louis, and Walter Bauer, Boston. The protest, as will be observed by physicians who can remember a similar previous incident, resembles the action taken by a so-called Committee of 400 who attempted to state their views against the policies of the House of Delegates of the American Medical Association.
