Dr. Cleon A. Nafe, Indiana, introduced the following resolutions, which were referred to the Reference Committee on Miscellaneous Business:Whereas, Considerable misunderstanding exists among physicians concerning the rules and regulations of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals concerning the role of the Department of General Practice in a hospital; andWhereas, It is not clear what methods of appeal are available to a hospital and its staff when the findings of the Commission are considered unjust; therefore be itResolved, That this House of Delegates of the American Medical Association request the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals to publish an article, or series of articles, in The Journal of the American
