ABSTRACT

NAME OF HYGEIA TO BE CHANGED TO TODAY'S HEALTH  With the February 1950 issue, Hygeia will be known as Today's Health. This periodical, which has been issued on a monthly basis since its inception in 1923, has become widely known as the "health magazine of the American Medical Association." At its November 5 meeting the Board of Trustees voted to adopt a title which better reflects the subject matter of this journal. Dr. W. W. Bauer, director of the Bureau of Health Education, who has been associate editor of Hygeia since 1932, has been named editor to succeed Dr. Morris Fishbein, who has resigned this position. Dr. W. W. Bolton, associate director of the Bureau of Health Education, has been named associate editor of Today's Health. Mr. Ellwood Douglas will continue as managing editor.
