This is a handbook in brief and condensed form offered to the physicians of Colorado by the medical society and the board of health of that state as a part of the educational campaign against cancer, a campaign which includes education of the physician in the technical aspects of modern diagnosis and treatment and of the lay public in the recognition of suggestive signs of early cancer and precancerous conditions. The material contained in the handbook is authentic in character, conveniently arranged (except for the absence of an index, which would have improved even so small a handbook) and, while brief, is sufficiently comprehensive to serve the needs of the general practitioner, for whose use it is primarily intended.
