ABSTRACT

ARKANSAS 

Postgraduate Course in Pediatrics.—  The University of Arkansas School of Medicine, Little Rock, will present a postgraduate pediatric course on October 31 and November 1. Physicians, public health nurses and workers are invited to attend. Guest speakers will be Dr. Herbert C. Miller Jr., University of Kansas School of Medicine, Lawrence-Kansas City, and Dr. Harry Bakwin, New York University School of Medicine, New York. No fees will be charged.

CALIFORNIA 

Symposium on Heart Disease.—  The annual postgraduate symposium on heart disease presented by the Heart Division of the San Francisco Tuberculosis Association will be held at the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco October 12-15. Dr. William Dock, Brooklyn, and Dr. Arnold R. Rich, Baltimore, will be the guest speakers.
