The Fifth Councilor District Medical Society was addressed in El Dorado, January 8, by Drs. Alton Ochsner, New Orleans, on "Carcinoma of the Lung: Early Diagnosis and Possibilities of Treatment," and William W. Scott, Chicago, on "The Urinary 17-Ketosteroids: The Rise of Our Knowledge of Their Origin and Excretion and Their Clinical Significance."
