Psychology of the Individual in Relation to Neuroses  The founder of "individualpsychologie," or psychology of the individual—Dr. A. Adler of Vienna, who has been invited to deliver several lectures in America on his new teachings (at the Columbia University, and elsewhere), addressed the Berliner Verein für innere Medizin, December 17, at which time he explained his views on the much discussed problem of neuroses. According to Adler, it is the province of psychology of the individual to discover the greatest common and mutual measure of all the difficulties of life to which an individual is exposed. The social relations of every person begin with mere perception through the organs of sense. In this respect, it is a matter of social psychology.
