ABSTRACT

This edition of Cotte's encyclopedic treatise on the functional disturbances of the female genital apparatus is much larger than the first edition. The present book contains 228 more pages and 82 more illustrations than the former one. Not only has much more material been included but the old has also been revised and corrected and the chapters have been rearranged. All the important advances that have been made in the last three years have been included in the present volume. This work is the result of thorough and diligent study. It should be in the library of every gynecologist because it contains a wealth of useful information concerning the physiology, clinical course and treatment of a large number of important gynecologic ailments. The book is well printed, the illustrations are clear and the language is delightfully simple.
