ABSTRACT

Medical Affairs in Connection with China  An investigating committee on Far Eastern drugs will be established as proposed by Dr. Rajchman of the League of Nations, who visited China and Japan some time ago. It will consist of the medical authorities from China and Japan, and the center is to be established in Shanghai with the express agreement of the Japanese government. Although the expenses will partly be paid by the league, the rest are to be borne by both countries. Drs. Morishima, emeritus professor in the Kyoto Imperial University, Kubota, professor of pharmaceutics in the Manchuria Medical College, and some other men are supposed to be nominated for the commission of our country.The building of the Shanghai Institute of Natural Philosophy has been completed, and the director will be Dr. C.
