The following bulletin has been circulated under date of Dec. 14, 1942 by the national headquarters of the Selective Service System to all secretaries of service boards:Persons Qualified.—There are certain persons trained, qualified or skilled in the practice of medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and osteopathy who, if engaged in the practice of their respective professions, are in a position to perform vital service in activities essential to war production and to the support of the war effort and in activities the maintenance of which is necessary to the health, safety and welfare of the nation.
