—Telegraphic reports to the U. S. Department of Commerce, for the week ending February 4, from sixty-seven cities with a total population of about 29 million indicate that the highest mortality rate (21.4) was for San Diego, and that the mortality rate for the group of cities as a whole was 13.6. The mortality rate for San Diego for the corresponding week last year was 19, and for the group of cities, 14.
