ABSTRACT

Sixth Annual Medicomilitary Symposium  The sixth annual inactive duty training course for medical reserve officers of the army and navy will be held at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn., October 7-20. Morning hours will be devoted to clinics on subjects selected by the student officers and afternoons to medicomilitary subjects. The general subject will be "Public Health and Its Relation to National Defense." The program will be under the direction of Col. Kent Nelson, U. S. Army, Seventh Corps Area Surgeon, Omaha, and Capt. John B. Mears, U. S. Navy District Medical Officer, Ninth Naval District, Great Lakes, Ill., to either of whom application may be made. One hundred hours of credit will be given for the course; those who cannot remain for the entire time may join or leave at any time and will receive credit for the hours spent.
