Abstract of Minutes of the Council Business Meeting held at Cleveland,
The Council recommended the appointment of a committee to appraise the aims and methods of medical education. Dr. Ray Lyman Wilbur, the chairman, accordingly appointed the following committee: Dr. Reginald Fitz (chairman), Dr. Waller S. Leathers, Dr. Willard C. Rappleye, Rev. Alphonse M. Schwitalla, Dr. Dean Lewis and Dr. Harold Rypins.
Representatives of the University of Georgia School of Medicine appeared before the Council and presented plans for the rehabilitation of the medical school. In particular, it was requested that the school be permitted to carry on its program during the next academic year without penalizing those students who might later desire to transfer to other institutions.
