Changes in Public Health Service
The following changes appeared among others in official orders issued by the U. S. Public Health Service recently:Medical Director Frank M. Faget, relieved at Stuttgart, Germany, July 1, and ordered to Lisbon, Portugal, for duty at the American Consulate.Asst. Surg. Albert N. Sarwold, relieved at San Francisco, August 15, and ordered to the U. S. Quarantine Station, Manila, P. I.
New Consultant in Industrial Hygiene
Dr. William J. McConnell, assistant medical director, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, reported for duty on August 7 as a consultant to the division of industrial hygiene, National Institute of Health, Bethesda, Md. He will direct the procedure to be used in the nationwide survey of present day medical service facilities in industry. Dr. McConnell graduated at St. Louis University School of Medicine, St. Louis, in 1914.
