Erection of a Statue to Vulpian
The municipal council of Paris has approved the erection of a statue to the celebrated physician and physiologist Vulpian, whose researches on the nerves and vasomotor phenomena are universally known. The statue, the work of the sculptor Paul Richer, member of the institute, will be placed near the Faculté de médecine.
French Congress of Medicine
The nineteenth congress of the Association des médecins français will be held at Paris, October 11-15. The president and general secretary of the society are Prof. Pierre Teissier and M. E. Rist, respectively. The opening assembly will be held at 9:30 a. m., Tuesday, October 11, in the large amphitheater of the Faculté de médecine, under the honorary chairmanship of the minister of public instruction.
