ABSTRACT

CONFERENCE ON PUBLIC HEALTH  The Board of Trustees of the American Medical Association has issued an invitation to official and volunteer organizations engaged in public health work to attend a conference to be held at the headquarters of the Association in Chicago, March 24 and 25. The following program has been arranged:

  1. The Relations of the Physician to Public Health

    • Hugh S. Cumming, M.D., Surgeon General, U. S. Public Health Service.

    • Linsly R. Williams, M.D., Director, National Tuberculosis Association.

    • Harlow Brooks, M.D., New York.

    • Arthur T. Holbrook, M.D., Milwaukee.

    • Frank W. Cregor, M.D., Indianapolis.

  2. Public Health Education (with Especial Reference to the Use of the Printed Page)

    • Matthias Nicoll, Jr., M.D., Commissioner of Health of the State of New York.

    • E. G. Routzahn, Associate Director, Department of Surveys and Exhibits, Russell Sage Foundation.

    • Morris Fishbein, M.D., Editor of The Journal of the American Medical Association.
