Midwife Arrested.
—Mrs. Marie Roderiguez, an unlicensed Mexican midwife, who has lived at Morro several years, pleaded guilty, Dec. 8, 1926, to violation of section 17 of the medical practice act, and was sentenced to serve sixty days in the county jail, the sentence being suspended for two years on condition that she does not violate this law during that period.
