All three were named for terms expiring in December, 1937.—Dr. Frank Vinsonhaler, dean, University of Arkansas School of Medicine, Little Rock, was recently awarded a medal by Columbia University, New York, for conspicuous service rendered to the university.
Dr. Grayson Appointed State Health Officer.
—Dr. William B. Grayson, McGehee, was elected state health officer and secretary of the board of health, April 10. Dr. Grayson, whose appointment will be effective June 13, will replace Dr. Charles W. Garrison, who has served in the position eighteen years. Dr. Grayson was president of the Desha County
