—The annual state health conference, September 11-12, was addressed, among others, by Drs. Jesse D. Riley, State Sanatorium, on the care and treatment of tuberculous patients, and Frank Vinsonhaler, dean, University of Arkansas School of Medicine, Little Rock, "Rôle of the Medical School in Preventive Medicine."—The Craighead-Poinsett County Medical Society was addressed, August 7, by Dr. Homer A. Stroud, Jonesboro, on tularemia.—The Jefferson County Medical Society was addressed, September 2, by Dr. Joseph F.
