ALABAMA 

Annual Clinical Meeting.  —The second annual clinic of the Dallas County Medical Society was held at Selma, September 26-27, under the presidency of Dr. William W. Burns. A banquet was given, September 27, at which Dr. Oscar Dowling, state health officer of Louisiana, and Dr. Winfield K. Sharp, Jr., U. S. Public Health Service, Washington, D. C., gave addresses.

CALIFORNIA 

Southern California Medical Society.  —The fall meeting of the society will be held November 3-4 in Los Angeles. Dr. Louis B. Wilson, dean of the University of Minnesota Graduate School of Medicine, and Dr. Edward C. Rosenow of the Mayo Foundation, Rochester, Minn., will be among the speakers.
